you might capture ghostly images in your pictures. If
you do, please
send
them to us to be featured on this website !
But, that's not all...
Our pirate guides are the best in the
business, and it's their job to turn you and yours into a
salty crew of swashbuckling rogues.
You'll leave with a whole new appreciation of a pirate's day
to day life as you experience
what it was like to
eat, work, fight and play like a true pirate.

artifacts
Learn to sword fight just like Blackbeard, the most feared
blade in the history of piracy

My family and I were recently in Beaufort for a
vacation and we went on the Legend of Blackbeard tour, Carrie was our
guide on this tour. I am writing you to tell you that she did an
OUTSTANDING job. We really enjoyed it. She told the story so that you
could picture what she was saying. She is great. After this tour we also
went on the Port City Pirates and Ghost tour where again Carrie was our
tour guide and once again she did an outstanding job. Everyone did
really well, but Carrie and Harvey were just the BEST. We are really
looking forward to coming back in the fall to take the Beaufort Ghost
Walk. Thank you for a Great time!
Katrina Cole
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Thanks for the tour...we had a blast! Here are a
few interesting pics from some of the rooms. One of the girls has an orb
almost completely covering her face. Loved the pirate history and the
ghost stories. We will definitely be back again!!

"Awesome!
We'll be back next year to visit the Horses again."
- Cliff
Sifford
|
Take
a 15 minute ferry ride over to Shackleford Banks and the southern portion
of the Cape Lookout National Seashore. There you will be introduced
to the Wild Horses of Shackleford. This herd is believed to have
descended from Horses that were brought here roughly 400 years ago, and
still survive as one of the last isolated groups of wild horses in the US.
You
will help your guide track the horses and see first hand the fascinating
behavior of horses in the wild, a
rare experience with nature that you'll never forget. Bring your
camera for pictures that will forever remind you of this amazing place and
its fascinating inhabitants.
After the tour, you will be directed to
one of the best shelling beaches in all of North Carolina where you can
spend some time on your own shelling your way down the beach, with the
Cape Lookout Lighthouse off in the distance.
You can spend the
rest of the day at the Seashore and return on your pre-scheduled ferry back to Beaufort,
and you can even bring your chairs and coolers!
