This 1 1/4 hour trip provides a more scenic and slower paced ride.
Shaded seats are available as you REMAIN on the boat during this memorable
cruise. This scenic trip shows you the entire 3 miles of the Beaufort waterfront
including Blackbeard's house, an operating menhaden fish factory,
Cape Lookout
lighthouse (from a distance), Blackbeard’s shipwreck site (Queen Anne’s
Revenge), Fort Macon, Radio Island and Duke Marine Lab. Many birds may be
sighted including Gulls, Pelicans, Ibis, Blue Heron, Egrets and Osprey . Wild,
shipwrecked mustangs may be seen - the only tour that completely circles Carrot
Island, Horse Island, Sand Dollar Island, Bird Shoals and Town Marsh while
traveling past part of Shackleford Banks in search of these mustangs and coastal
wildlife. On some days Dolphin, Sea Turtles and other land and marine life may
be spotted.
